How it works
A weekly DigiByte 50/50 raffle. Tickets go in all week, one entry is drawn on Friday, and the winner takes half the pot.
A round, step by step
- 1
Buy tickets
Any time the round is open
Sign in with DigiID and send DGB to the address shown for your order. Each ticket becomes a numbered entry.
- 2
Entries lock
Friday 3:00 PM ET
Sales close. The full entry list and its fingerprint are published, before the draw block exists.
- 3
The draw
Friday 4:00 PM ET
The winner is worked out from that fingerprint and a public DigiByte block, so nobody can pick it.
- 4
The payout
After the draw
Half the pot goes to the winner and half to the Treasury, in one public transaction.

Your browser can recompute the winner from the published data, and the next round is already open.
Tickets and bonus entries
Each ticket costs $1.00, paid in DGB at a price locked for 15 minutes. Bigger purchases earn free bonus entries, and a bonus entry has the same chance as a paid one.
| Tickets | Bonus | Entries | Chart of paid and bonus entries |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | — | 1 | |
| 5 | +1 | 6 | |
| 10 | +3 | 13 | |
| 20 | +7 | 27 | |
| 50 | +20 | 70 |
The bar shows paid tickets in gold and bonus entries in orange. For any other amount, you get the bonus of the highest step you reach. Bonus entries are free and do not add to the pot.
Your chance
Every entry has exactly the same chance. Your chance is your entries divided by all entries: with 10 of 100 entries, shown above, it is 10%.
There is one winner each round, so most entries do not win.
Where the pot goes
- Winner: 50%
- Treasury: 50%
A pot of 1,000 DGB pays 500 DGB to the winner and 500 DGB to the Treasury. Network fees are not taken from the pot.
Why nobody can pick the winner
- Entry listEvery entry, published at lock.
- FingerprintA SHA-256 hash that seals that exact list.
- Draw blockFirst DigiByte block with a median time at or after 4:00 PM ET.
- WinnerFingerprint + block hash decide the entry. Same data, same winner.
The list is sealed an hour before the block that decides the winner exists, so the list cannot be arranged around it. The app has no way to choose or change a winner.
